Founded in 1952, Adler School of Professional Psychology is the oldest independent school of psychology in North America. Adler School is committed to continuing the work of Alfred Adler by producing socially responsible graduates, by providing holistic services to individuals and communities, and by promoting social justice.

Their innovative program curricula prepare socially responsible practitioners by promoting social justice through education and training. The School offers a doctoral program in clinical psychology, accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA), and five master's programs in behavioral sciences and services, including a recently launched master's program in police psychology, the first of its kind in the country. The School is also accredited by The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.

The Adler School of Professional Psychology is committed to advancing the philosophy and principles of Alfred Adler within the context of professional psychological practice. The school's mission is to provide quality professional education, psychological services, community services, and research and publications, anticipating and responding to the constant and changing needs of students, the profession of psychology, the community, and society.
