The Arc of Washington State

Since 1936 The Arc of Washington State has been a leader in the development of services and programs for people with developmental disabilities, such as autism, cerebral palsy, mental retardation, epilepsy and related neurological disorders which occur before age 18. For over seventy years, The Arc of Washington State has been a leader in the development of services and programs for people with developmental disabilities of all ages and providing support to their families.

The Arc of Washington State is a non-profit organization and is affiliated with The Arc of the United States and eleven local Arc chapters throughout the state.

The Arc of Washington State's mission is to advocate for the rights and full participation of all people with developmental disabilities. Along with our network of members and chapters, we support and empower individuals and families; connect and inform individuals and families; improve support and service systems; influence public policy; increase public awareness; and inspire inclusive communities.
