Child Abuse Prevention Association - CAPA

At CAPA they are committed to providing a variety of services of prevention and treatment services to children and their families throughout their community. They help families heal from the traumatic effects of child abuse, especially child molestation. They provide resources to high-needs families so they can create strong and healthy homes and They provide educational training that teaches children safety skills and help parents have effective parenting skills.

The Child Abuse Prevention Association helps children and their families overcome the traumatic effects of child abuse, especially in child molestation. CAPA also provides educational programs designed to increase awareness of abuse and how to prevent it as well as providing case management and other support services to help create strong families and decrease the chances of abuse/neglect.

Vision:

  • Every child and family begins receiving services without delay
  • New parents will have the opportunity to develop a strong network of support and create an environment for their children that is safe and nurturing
  • Every member of our community will know they can help prevent child abuse

Mission:
Their mission is to prevent and treat all forms of child abuse by creating changes in individuals, families and society that strengthen relationships and promote healing.
