The Children’s Aid Society of Toronto

The Children’s Aid Society of Toronto is one of the largest child welfare organizations in Canada. It is an incorporated not-for-profit agency governed by a volunteer board of directors and funded by the Province of Ontario.

Their legal mandate is to protect children from harm. Because of their belief in the importance of early intervention, they also provide assessments, crisis intervention, counseling and services to prevent child abuse and neglect. In addition, they help vulnerable communities to protect and support their children.

The Children’s Aid Society of Toronto is committed to developing a work environment and a service delivery system, free from all forms of oppression, including racism.
