Dr. Erik Fisher has become known as a pioneer in his field. His unique way of both educating and supporting his clients has resulted in positive outcomes for many individuals, couples and families who have struggled with other approaches to treatment. Using a strategic combination of education, therapeutic interventions and creative, empowering approaches, he assists his clients on a cooperative journey to healing. Dr. Fisher has a great deal of experience working with Anxiety and Depression, Grief and Loss, Trauma and Recovery, Dissociative Disorders, Attention Deficit Disorders and Learning Disorders, and Spiritual Growth Issues.
Dr. E… has been working with the media for 15 years. He has enjoyed multiple appearances on CNN, NBC, FOX, and has appeared on numerous radio shows across the U.S. and Canada. He has also been referenced in many prominent newspapers and magazines across North America.
Dr. Fisher has a great deal of experience working with individuals with Attention Deficit Disorders and Learning Disorders, Anxiety and Depression, Grief and Loss, Trauma and Recovery, Dissociative Disorders, and Spiritual Growth Issues . While Dr. Fisher is attentive to diagnostic issues that affect individuals, his focus is on the individual dynamics that result in their personal and interpersonal difficulties. It is his understanding of the interaction of emotions and perceptions of personal power that create and feed so many of our issues whether it is within the self, the family or in an organization. It is this approach that has helped him to address the issues that many other professionals have had difficulties addressing.
He has recently published the book, The Art of Managing Everyday Conflict: Understanding Emotions and Power Struggles and is continuing to author additional books related to the relationship between concepts of personal power and the interaction of emotion.
