The International Mental Health Research Organization (IMHRO)

The International Mental Health Research Organization is committed to funding research and raising awareness to help people with brain disease, and, ultimately, find cures for schizophrenia, depression and bipolar disorder.

Brain disease can be a living hell, both for persons afflicted and the families who love them. They know. They've been there. Probably, so have people you know: 1 in 5 people lives with a brain disorder. It is the number 1 cause of adult disability in the world.

They are a collection of families and individuals whose lives have been touched by brain disorders–and who believe that mental health research can solve brain disease within a generation. So far, the incredible generosity of their donors and volunteers has raised over $94 million in 15 years for research. And, this research has already helped thousands of people.
