Lund University was founded in 1666. Today it is an international centre for research and education that has approximately 38 000 students. Lund has an excellent academic reputation with a large number of visiting professors and international students.
Lund University is the strongest research university in Sweden and one of Scandinavia's largest institutions for education and research. they offer an extensive range of English-taught programmes, including over 70 Master’s programmes and 300 single subject courses.
At the Department of Psychology there are about 110 employees, 1300 students in basic education and over 50 active graduate students. The Department is organized into divisions and networks represent key areas of psychology: Work and organizational psychology, cognition, neuropsychology, personality and social psychology, clinical psychology and developmental psychology.
In psychology looks at first how people perceive things and how we think, react and behave in different contexts. Psychology of human-centered and knowledge of the subject is useful and important in many business areas where contact with humans included. The topic is very broad and has points in common with other substances in both social sciences and humanities as sciences, medicine and technology.
