The Northern California Society for Psychoanalytic Psychology (NCSPP) is committed to the study of psychoanalytic psychology and the encouragement of its interest in the professional and general communities. Their more than 650 members form a community that spans the greater Bay Area and Northern California.

The mission of the Northern California Society for Psychoanalytic Psychology (NCSSP) is:

• The study of psychoanalytic psychology.
• The encouragement of interest in psychoanalytic psychology in the professional and general communities.
• The development at the local level of support for individual members in the maintenance of a coherent identity as mental health professionals interested in psychoanalytic theory and practice.
