Olalla Recovery Center

Olalla Recovery Center (since 1998) is a Family Practice physician working in Addiction Medicine for the past 20 years.

From 1985 to 1992 he was the Head of the U.S. Navy Alcohol Rehabilitation Department at the U.S. Naval Hospital, Oakland, California. Certified in Addiction Medicine in 1988 by the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) and serves as a member of the ASAM membership committee. Dr. Shaw currently is a member of the Kitsap County Substance Abuse Advisory Board (SAAB) and the Substance Abuse Prevention Association of Kitsap County. He also is a member of the King County Bar Association Drug Policy Project (DPP) Steering Committee and Washington State Division of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Nicotine Policy Advisory Committee (NICPAC). He is a retired life member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and of the Washington Society of Addiction Medicine.
