The Self Help Center provides the following services:

• a regularly updated database of support groups in Champaign County and surrounding East Central Illinois communities, national groups, and groups in formation. The Center also has information on state-wide support groups and professionals available to assist self-help groups.

• The Self Helper, a free print newsletter containing information and news relevant to the self-help community. Also available online.
• The self-help lending library.
• A credit / non credit leadership course, workshops and educational packets on starting, publicizing, and facilitating groups.
• Consultation service to assist individuals wanting to start new groups or improve the functioning of existing groups.
