Tennessee Chapter of Children's Advocacy Centers

The Tennessee Chapter of Children's Advocacy Centers is an accredited State Chapter of the National Children's Alliance, and is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization established to work with child advocacy center programs in Tennessee.

TNCAC's mission is to promote, assist, and support development, growth, and continuation of child advocacy centers in their service to abused and neglected children and their families.

There are currently 42 Child Advocacy Centers who are members of the Tennessee Chapter of Children’s Advocacy Centers. Children’s Advocacy Centers are located in both rural and urban communities across the state, providing services to 87 counties. CACs work collaboratively with over 185 law enforcement agencies and 29 of the 31 Judicial Districts. From July 2008 through June 2009, Tennessee Chapter member programs served nearly 20,000 children in Tennessee.
