University of Tasmania - School of Psychology

Psychology is a diverse discipline concerned with the scientific study of human experience and behaviour. It considers explanations and causes of behaviour and applies that knowledge to help individuals and groups in clinical settings, education, employment and the community.

Research facilities in the School of Psychology have recently moved to the refurbished Psychology Research Centre (PRC) on Level 1 of the Psychology Annex building (formerly IT Resources space). The PRC provides state of the art facilities for research in the form of purpose built equipment-based laboratories, assessment and observation rooms, and flexible space suitable for a range of experimental and applied research projects.

Research laboratories in the PRC include the:
