Substance Use Disorders -

Alcohol Dependence: Alcohol abuse: A destructive pattern of alcohol use, leading to significant social, occupational, or medical impairment.
Amphetamine Dependence: Amphetamine (or similar stimulant) abuse: A destructive pattern of amphetamine (or similar stimulant) use, leading to significant social, occupational, or medical impairment.
Cannabis Dependence: Cannabis abuse: A destructive pattern of cannabis use, leading to significant social, occupational, or medical impairment.
Cocaine Dependence: Cocaine abuse: A destructive pattern of cocaine use, leading to significant social, occupational, or medical impairment.
Hallucinogen Dependence: Hallucinogen abuse: A destructive pattern of hallucinogen use, leading to significant social, occupational, or medical impairment.
Inhalant Dependence: Some disorders display similar or sometimes even the same symptom. The clinician, therefore, in his diagnostic attempt has to differentiate against the following disorders which he needs to rule out to establish a precise diagnosis.
Opioid Dependence: Either need for markedly increased amounts of opioid to achieve intoxication, or markedly diminished effect with continued use of the same amount of opioid.
Phencyclidine Dependence: Continued phencyclidine use is continued despite knowledge of having a persistent or recurrent physical or psychological problem that is likely to have been worsened by phencyclidine
Sedative Dependence: Sedative caused reduction in social, occupational or recreational activities:Important social, occupational, or recreational activities given up or reduced because of sedative use.
